Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
- Physical Qualification: The minimum height shall be 152 cms, and in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST community, the minimum height shall be 150 cms.
- Endurance Test: All candidates should successfully complete an endurance test of running 2.5 Kilometers race within 15 minutes.
- Physical Efficiency Test:

- 100 Meters Run : 17 Seconds
- High Jump : 1.06 Meters
- Long Jump : 3.05 Meters
- Putting the Shot (4 Kgs) : 4.88 Meters
- 200 Meter runs : 36 Seconds
- Throwing the throw ball : 14 Meters
- Shuttle Race (4x25 meter) : 26 Seconds
- Skipping (One Minute) : 80 times
- Physique and Eye sight: (i) Must be certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an AssistantSurgeon/Junior consultant as to her physical fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. The Medical Certificate has to be produced as and when called for.
