Qualifications:

1. General: Completion of the course of study for pre-universityor Pre-Degree Examination of a recognised University or any equivalent qualification.
2. Technical:
   (a) Successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technician course of the medical colleges of Kerala. OR
   (b) Successful completion of the Blood Transfusion Assistant Class 3 and Class 2 course of the Army Medical corps.
